Police: Two Arrested For Drunken-Driving Overnight
Both arrests occurred between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. on Route 9.
Overnight while on patrol in Westborough, police officers arrested two men and charged them with drunken-driving.
According to police reports, Officer Joshua Croft located a stopped vehicle on the side of Route 9 near Curry Printing at 1:22 a.m. Croft soon discovered that the driver was passed out in the vehicle with it running.
Robert F. Thompson, 50, of 52 West Main St., was arrested. He was charged with second offense drunken-driving and will be arraigned in Westborough District Court today.

An hour later, Officer Christopher Atchue stopped a vehicle on Route 9 after he observed it speeding near West Meadow Plaza.
Jonathan Sachariah, 30, of 58 Malden St., Malden was arrested and charged with drunken-driving and speeding. Sachariah will also be arraigned in Westborough District Court today.
