Eight top Westborough police officers will receive 2 percent cost of living adjustments annually for three years starting next July 1.

Tuesday night, selectmen approved the three-year contract with the Superior Officers Unit for fiscal years 2014 to 2016, as negotiated.

The deal "reduces the 'bump' on the longevity from 4 percent over the max to 3 percent for all new employees," Town Manager Jim Malloy told the board.
