Westborough Police continue investigating Thursday's accident involving a car and a truck at Oak at Park streets, Police Chief Alan Gordon said today.

However, Officer Tyson Delong's investigation has shown that the car's driver "took her eyes off the road to check her GPS and she failed to stop for the stop sign and collided with the truck," Gordon said in a press release.

The accident involving a 2010 Kia and a 2006 Freightliner was reported to police at 11:21 a.m. Thursday, Gordon said.

A Westborough ambulance took the driver of the Kia, Denise A. Pourghasemi, 35, of 78 Lincoln St., Hudson, as well as an infant, to the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center in Worcester for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Gordon said.

The truck driver, Dennis K. Griffin, 48, of 20 Shay Road, Hudson was not injured, Gordon said.
