Westborough Police Make 2 OUI Arrests Over Weekend

Here are the highlights of the Westborough Police log.

Westborough Police arrested an Upton man on drunk driving charges Saturday night.

James M. Walker, 55, of 17 Francis Drive, Upton, was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, and a marked lanes violation, following his arrest on Charles Street at 8:04 p.m. Saturday, according to the Westborough Police log.

That was the second drunken driving arrest by Westborough Police this weekend.

Police arrested Zachary Backman, 18, of 18 Glenwood Road, Southborough, on Turnpike Road at 7:32 p.m. Friday, according to the police log. Police charged him with operating under the influence of liquor.

Meanwhile, in an unrelated incident, on Turnpike Road at 6:52 a.m. Friday, police arrested Jose Costanco Morales, 49, of 1001 Waverly St., Framingham on a warrant.

The Milford District Court warrant was for operating after suspension and marked lanes violation, Police Chief Alan Gordon said today.

Also, Westborough Police are investigating a reported vandalism of a Ruggles Street mailbox for the second time in a week, Gordon said.

The latest report came at 2:19 p.m. Sunday.

At 3:45 p.m., police responded to a reported burglar alarm on Olde Connecticut Path.

At 4:21 p.m., police responded to a reported burglar alarm on Powder Hill Way.

At 6:41 p.m., police responded to a report of a disabled motor vehicle at Turnpike Road at Otis Street.

At 10:06 p.m., police responded to a report of a suspicious person on West Main Street.

At 10:32 p.m., police responded to a report of a suspicious motor vehicle on Turnpike Road.

On Saturday, at 1:29 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Oak Street.

At 8:02 a.m., police responded to a report of an erratic driver in the vicinity of Turnpike Road. The report proved unfounded.

At 1:47 p.m., police responded to a report of a disabled motor vehicle in the vicinity of East Main Street at Turnpike Road. The report proved unfounded.

At 5:05 p.m., police responded to a reported accidental burglar alarm on East Main Street.

At 8:34 p.m., police responded to a reported accidental burglar alarm on Warren Street.

At 9:32 p.m., police responded to a report of threats made on Turnpike Road.

At 9:50 p.m., police responded to a reported animal complaint on Otis Street.

At 11:43 p.m., police responded to a reported general disturbance on Forrest Lane.

On Sunday, at 1:44 a.m., police responded to Computer Drive for a reported general disturbance, and dispersed a gathering.

At 3:57 a.m., police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident with property damage at Turnpike at Bellows roads.

At 8:32 a.m., police responded to a reported accidental burglar alarm on Otis Street.

At 10:40 a.m., police responded to a reported accidental burglar alarm on Otis Street.

At 1:13 p.m., police responded to a reported accidental burglar alarm on East Main Street.

At 3:21 p.m., police responded to a report of a disabled motor vehicle at Turnpike Road at Otis Street.

At 7:58 p.m., police responded to a reported animal complaint on Wheeler Road.

At 11:04 p.m., police responded to a reported accidental burglar alarm on Longmeadow Road.
