A Portsmouth, N.H. woman who police say lied to them during the investigation into the murder of Westborough resident Elizabeth Marriott last year is expected to plead guilty, according to the Union Leader.

Kathryn McDonough, 19, of Portsmouth is scheduled to be sentenced on July 25 in Rockingham County Superior Court as part of a negotiated plea bargain, according to the Union Leader.

According to court documents, investigators say that McDonough conspired with Seth Mazzaglia, 30, of Dover, N.H. to cover up Marriott's murder that took place in Mazzaglia's Dover apartment on Oct. 9, 2012 before police say the couple dumped Marriott's body into the Piscataqua River on Peirce Island in Portsmouth. Mazzaglia is being held without bail at the Strafford County Jail in Dover on second degree murder and is scheduled to go to trial in March 2013.

Marriott is a 2011 graduate of Westborough High School.
