Man Arrested Twice; Allegedly Beats, Threatens to Murder Neighbor

Westborough Police arrest Albert J. DeFelice in the Westboro Trailer Park.

A local man was arrested on a number of charges on Sunday after allegedly riding his motorcycle around in a trailer park and threatening to kill a neighbor.

Albert J. DeFelice, 52, was arrested on July 20, and charged with two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon, threatening to commit a crime (murder), disorderly, and resisting arrest.

According to a report from Westborough Police Chief Alan Gordon, officers were sent to the Westboro Trailer Park for a report of a man “riding a motorcycle around the park erratically endangering the other residents.”

Police met with the man, DeFelice, who was reportedly standing in the road next to a motorcycle.

“DeFelice was very confrontational towards the Officers,” Gordon wrote. “He was threatening to fight them.”

DeFelice then walked away from officers and allegedly threatened another resident in the park. Police placed him under arrest for being a disorderly person, according to the report.

DeFelice was booked and processed, and later, bailed out, at just before 10 p.m., with an arraignment date in Westboro District Court for July 21. Police also gave him a ride home. And then, more problems allegedly occurred.

“After dropping him off at his home, he was directed to go inside and not to cause any more problems,” according to Gordon. “(Officers) drove off and parked around the corner from DeFelice’s home. At 10:01, (an officer) heard loud yelling from the area and observed DeFelice in a verbal argument with a female neighbor.”

DeFelice allegedly ran at his neighbor, head-butted her, and kicked her in the stomach, knocking her to the ground, according to the report, and then, allegedly “threatened to enter her trailer and kill her kids.”

The officer tried to arrest DeFelice but he reportedly stepped back and threatened the officers. An officer “struck him with his baton on the shin area which caused DeFelice to fall to the ground where he was placed under arrest.”

DeFelice was arrested again on multiple charges and later, treated by Westborough Fire and Rescue teams for a laceration on his shin. He was treated at U/Mass Medical Center. DeFelice was held by police until his arraignment on July 21.
