Logs: Drug and Drunkeness Charges in Local Arrests

Here are excerpts from the Westborough police and fire logs. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests; other than that, we pick out incidents you might find interesting.

Sunday, March 20 

12:17 a.m.: A disturbance was reported from the bar of the on Computer Drive. Officer Ethan Hillman investigated. No problems were reported.

2:37 a.m.: Emergency medical services were requested on Steven Road. An ambulance was dispatched the scene and a patient was taken to the hospital. Officer Christopher Atchue responded.

6:52 a.m.: Emergency medical services were requested for an elderly woman on West End Avenue. An ambulance was sent to the scene and the woman was taken to the hospital. Officer Ethan Hillman assisted.

9:48 a.m.: Officer Domenic Annunziata and Sgt. Peter Goodney made an arrest on Bellows Road. ARRESTED: Jeremy P. Margwarth, 25, 1 Sherburne Rd., Westborough, MA. CHARGES: Default warrant, operating a motor vehicle with suspended license, possession of class D drug

10:20 a.m.: Officer Leeanne Baker issued a traffic citation for a truck parked in the crosswalk at the intersection of Ruggles and West Main Streets.

6:06 p.m.: Officer Gregory McRae, Officer Michael Daniels and Sgt. Peter Goodney investigated a report of a man on the ground near the dumpster in the West Meadow Plaza on Milk Street. ARRESTED: Christopher P. McGavin, 58, 20 West St., Westborough. CHARGES: Drunkeness 

8:32 p.m.: Sgt. Peter Goodney responded to a report of a disabled motor vehicle in the center late of Route 9 eastbound near the . No problems were found when he arrived at the scene.

Monday, March 21 

9:54 a.m.: Fire crews responded to a report of an explosion and possible fire on West Main Street. Upon investigation, no problems were found and it was determined that a resident in the area had a burning permit.

11:53 a.m.: Emergency medical services were requested on Fisher Street. An ambulance was dispatched to the address and a patient was taken to the hospital. Officer Craig Hillier assisted at the scene.

6:53 p.m.: Emergency medical services were requested on Indian Pond Road. Officer Tyson Delong investigated. An ambulance was sent to the scene and a patient was taken to the hospital.
