The following information was obtained from the logs of the Westborough police and fire departments and scanner reports. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Here are excerpts from the Westborough police and fire logs. Please note that this is a sampling of activity in the log, not a complete account. We report all arrests; other than that, we pick out incidents you might find interesting.

Thursday, March 22

7:41 a.m.: An ambulance was requested at on Milk Street for a many who was feeling dizzy and faint. Westborough paramedics assisted. Officer Caleb Polseno helped at the scene.

7:41 a.m.: Officers Paul Pinto and Caleb Polseno investigated a reported dispute between neighbors at .

3:28 p.m.: A crash was reported on Turnpike Road. Officer Tyson Delong assisted at the scene. A field interrogation report was filed.

4:15 p.m.: A crash was reported on Turnpike Road. Officer Jeffrey Johnson helped those involved. A field interrogation report was filed.

5:24 p.m.: An ambulance was requested on Hundreds Road. Westborough paramedics and Officer Jeffrey Johnson investigated. A patient was taken to the hospital.

8:19 p.m.: Emergency medical services were requested on East Main Street. Westborough paramedics and Officers Richard Trainor and Michael Daniels responded. A patient was taken to the hospital.

11:09 p.m.: Westborough paramedics and Officer Jeffrey Johnson were called to Computer Drive for an emergency medical request. A patient was taken to the hospital.

Friday, March 23

7:50 a.m.: A crash was reported on East Main Street. Officer Joshua Croft assisted those involved.

8:45 a.m.: A two car crash was reported near the on East Main Street. No injuries were reported. Officer Jeffrey Keaveney helped those involved.

2:41 p.m.: An ambulance was requested on East Main Street. Westborough paramedics took a patient to the hospital.

3:38 p.m.: Officer Dean Paine investigated a report that debris was spread on Belknap Road from a truck. Tools and other debris were said to be in the roadway. The officer removed the items to the side of the road. The was called to assist.

3:43 p.m.: A larceny was reported on Maynard Street.

7:50 p.m.: Officer Michael Daniels responded to a reported larceny on West Main Street. A field interrogation report was filed.

11:52 p.m.: Officer Caleb Polseno investigated a report of gunshots on Kimball Road.

Saturday, March 24

3:06 a.m.: Officers Joshua Croft, Caleb Polseno and Paul Pinto responded to a traffic incident at the intersection of East Main Street and Flanders Road. ARRESTED: Oscar Hernandez-Moran, 19, 13 Baker Way, Apt. 13, Westborough. CHARGES: Operating under the influence of liquor, operating a motor vehicle without a license, failure to yield to oncoming traffic.

10:57 a.m.: A bank robbery was reported at the on Lyman Street. Officers Leeanne Baker, Charles Dapolite and Tyson Delong were joined by Sgt. Steven Real and Det. Gary Hassett for an investigation.

11:44 a.m.: A railroad company notified police that a young girl was walking along the railroad tracks near a pond on Fisher Street. Officers Leeanne Baker and Tyson Delong responded, but they did not find anyone fitting that description.

12:51 p.m.: Officer Clifford Luce investigated a report of breaking and entering into a motor vehicle on Turnpike Road.

3:31 p.m.: Vandalism was reportd on Ruggles Street.

6:40 p.m.: Officer Laura Grasso investigated a report of vandalism to a motor vehicle on Mayberry Drive. A field interrogation report was filed.

9:59 p.m.: A crash was reported on West Main Street. Officer Richard Trainor assisted those involved. A field interrogation report was filed.

10:11 p.m.: A larceny was reported on School Street. Officer Terry Peters filed a field report.

Sunday, March 25

9:14 a.m.: A crash was reported at the intersection of Morse Street and Upton Road. Officers Jeffrey Johnson and Clifford Luce responded. A field interrogation report was filed.

1:49 p.m.: Westborough paramedics and Officer Tyson Delong responded to a report that an 11-month-old child was choking on South Street. The child did not need to go to the hospital.

5 p.m.: were called to assist Northborough firefighters at the scene of a fire on Pleasant St. The story is on Northborough Patch.

5:19 p.m.: Sgt. Peter Goodney and Westborough paramedics responded to a report that a woman passed out at the near Otis Street.

6:46 p.m.: An ambulance was requested on Turnpike Road. Westborough paramedics, Sgt. Chester Hallice and Officer Richard Trainor assisted. A patient was taken to the hospital.

7:21 p.m.: Emergency medical services were requested on Turnpike Road. Officers Laura Grasso and Gregory McRae joined Westborough paramedics at the scene. A patient was taken to the hospital.

10:34 p.m.: A patient was taken to the hospital from Robin Lane. Westborough paramedics and Officer Richard Trainor assisted.

Monday, March 26

2:39 a.m.: An ambulance was requested on Flanders Road. Westborough paramedics and Officer Joshua Croft helped as a patient was taken to the hospital.

6:51 a.m.: Officer Brian Massey, Sgt. Todd Rossi and Det. Steven Tompkins investigated a reported unattended death on Lyman Street.

9:41 a.m.: Ambulance services were requested for a woman at TJX offices on Flanders Road. The woman felt like she was going to pass out. Westborough paramedics and Officer Richard Trainor responded. The woman was taken to the hospital.

12:15 p.m.: Officers Terry Peters, Gregory McRae and Brian Massey investigated a report that a man and woman were having a “heated discussion” under the bridge on Milk Street. Police reported that there was no argument going on when they arrived.

4:06 p.m.: Westborough paramedics and Officer Michael Daniels responded to a request for an ambulance on Flanders Road. A patient was taken to the hospital.

5:28 p.m.: A two car crash was reported on Route 9 west, just past Otis Street. Officer Brian Massey assisted those involved. There were no reported injuries. A field interrogation report was filed.

7:12 p.m.: Emergency medical services were requested on East Main Street. Officer Michael Daniels and Westborough paramedics responded. A patient was taken to the hospital.
