Logs: 4 Westborough Men Face Judge This Week

These are the Westborough related cases as they appeared in the logs of the Westborough District Court.

Monday, Oct. 24

Justin Amalrat, 35, of 20 School St., Westborough, was summonsed into court by Westborough police Sept. 27 and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, concealing a number plate, motorcycle equipment violation, driving an unregistered motor vehicle and driving an uninsured motor vehicle. Judge Vito Virzi dismissed the first two charges, the second upon payment of $200 in court costs, found him not responsible on the next two charges and dismissed the final charge upon payment of $200 in court costs.

Wednesday, Oct. 26

Christopher M. Macomber, 34, 147 Milk St., Apt. 10, Westborough, was arrested on Sept. 28 by Westborough police for OUI, leaving the scene of property damage, failure to slow down. Judge Robert Calaglione sentenced Macomber to one year probation for leaving the scene, and one year probation, a 24-day program and 45-day loss of license for OUI.

Thursday, Oct. 28

Obden Benjamin, 23, of 4 Eva Cir., Randolph, was arrested by Westborough police on July 8 and was charged with assault and battery. Judge Vito Virzi dismissed the case without prejudice.

Bryan W. Wood, 25, of 3 Lincoln St., #3, Westborough, was arrested by Westborough police on April 1 and charged with violation of a prevention order. Judge Vito Virzi dismissed the charged without prejudice.

Bryan W. Wood, 25, of 3 Lincoln St., #3, Westborough, was summonsed into court after Westborough police filled out a complaint and charged him with two counts of threatening to commit a crime. Judge Vito Virzi dismissed the charges without prejudice.

Matthew Malone, 21, of 200 E. Main St., Westborough, was summonsed into court after Westborough police filled out a complaint on Sept. 27 and charged Malone with one count of larceny over $250, three counts of larceny by check, three counts of forgery of a promissory note endorsement, three counts of receiving stolen property and three counts of uttering a promissory note falsely endorsed. Judge Vito Virzi continued the case until Nov. 16. Malone worked with a friend at Dunkin’ Donuts in Shrewsbury on Route 20 when he told her that he allegedly needed $900 to pay court costs, according to the police report. The woman gave him the money and he allegedly got three checks from a family member and asked the woman to cash the three checks for $400 each and give him half of it back. The police also said Malone took out a Sears credit card in the family member’s name and allegedly made fraudulent charges. The family member cancelled the card.
