Leominster Man Faces Second Drunken Driving Arrest

The following information was provided by the Westborough Police Department. All arrests are reported. Charges do not indicate a conviction.

A Leominster man faces drunken driving charges for the second time, after Westborough Police arrested him on Route 9 on Saturday.

Police arrested Jon Carruth, 61, of 19 Foster Court, Leominster, at 3:10 p.m., and charged him with operating under the influence of liquor, second offense; marked lanes violation, and speeding, according to the Westborough Police log.

At 6:45 a.m., police received a report from Turnpike Road of a burglar alarm, which proved accidental.

At 7:24 a.m., police received a report from Otis Street of a fire alarm.

At 7:41 a.m., police received a report from Milk Street of a burglar alarm, which proved accidental.

At 8:21 a.m., police received a report from Turnpike Road at Milk Street of a motor vehicle accident with property damage.

At 9:09 a.m., police received a report from Colonial Drive of suspicious activity.

At 1:18 p.m., police received a report from Otis at Davis streets of a motor vehicle accident with injuries.

At 4 p.m., police received a report from Turnpike Road of a fire alarm.

At 4:10 p.m., police received an animal complaint from Interstate 495 South.

At 8:48 p.m., police received a report from Milk Street of a burglar alarm.

At 9:15 p.m., police received a report from Fay Street of a fire alarm. Police searched the area, and found nothing.

At 10:11 p.m., police received a report from West Main Street of a suspicious person.

At 10:30 p.m., police received a report from Turnpike Road of road/tree/wires. Police searched the area, and found nothing.

At 10:35 p.m., police received an animal complaint from Ruggles Street at Deerslayer Lane. Police searched the area, and found nothing.
