A Target stock boy was arrested Saturday for allegedly taking about $4,500 in merchandise from the Route 9 department store over the past month.
Javier Manjarres allegedly had five iPads when Target loss prevention employees stopped him on Saturday, Westborough Police Chief Alan Gordon said today.
Police arrested Manjarres, 22, of 109 Oakland St., Apt. 18 and charged him with shoplifting over $100 by asportation, and nine counts of larceny over $250 at 4 p.m. Saturday, according to the Westborough Police log.
Loss prevention employees had watched Manjarres since about Nov. 12, Gordon said.
Manjarres faces arraignment today in Westborough District Court.
