Alleged Deadbeat Dad Owes Over $65,000 in Child Support
Former Westborough resident Robert Norton has been living in Florida.
A former Westborough man allegedly owes child support exceeding $65,000, and has been living in Florida, according to Westborough District Court records.
Robert Norton, 52, was ordered held on $25,000 cash bail after his arraignment Wednesday before Judge Robert B. Calagione. Court records list Norton's address as 14 Nash St., Westborough.
Norton has been charged with abandoning a child without support, leaving the Commonwealth, and failure to comply with a support order.
Norton "owes child support in excess of $65,000 in Massachusetts" and left Massachusetts and moved to Florida, court records show.
Norton faces a Sept. 6 pre-trial hearing.
