Driver in Aug. 26 Crash is Remembered

Loka Wahba has died from injuries related to the crash.

A Framingham man has died from injuries from an early Aug. 26 morning rollover crash on Route 9 in Westborough, Westborough Police Chief Alan Gordon said today.

Westborough Police were notified Tuesday that Loka Wahba, 22, of 1640 Worcester Road, Framingham died from injuries related to the crash, Gordon said in a press release.

Wahba was headed east on Route 9 when the 2007 Nissan vehicle "went straight, went off the roadway and struck a hydrant," police said following the accident. "The vehicle then rolled over several times. The operator was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle."

Wahba was transported to the University of Massachusetts Medical Center after the crash, which happened at Route 9 at Bellows Road about 3:57 a.m. Aug. 26.
