Driver Allegedly Goes Home After Rollover

Police cited him for motor vehicle violations, including leaving the scene.

A Westborough man allegedly went home after his car struck a curb, a mailbox and a utility pole, "and then rolled over" early this morning, Police Chief Alan Gordon said today.

Police cited Sean P. Jordan, 44, of 22 Olde Meetinghouse Road for operating a motor vehicle so as to endanger, failure to keep within marked lanes and leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident, Gordon said in a press release.

Police went to Jordan's home after finding his 2002 Lexus RX300 "rolled over in the street," the driver absent, near 67 Ruggles St. around 2:18 a.m., Gordon said.

Jordan was not injured, Gordon said.

An investigation by Officer Paul Pinto "showed that Jordan became distracted while driving the vehicle," Gordon said.

Jordan faces arraignment at Westborough District Court at a later date, Gordon said.
