Buck Strikes Westborough Police Cruiser on Route 9

A large buck struck a Westborough Police cruiser on Route 9 early Friday, ripping off the spotlight and the side view mirror, Police Chief Alan Gordon said Friday.
Officer Caleb Polseno, who was driving the cruiser, was not injured, Gordon said.
The buck crossed Route 9, jumped over the Jersey barrier, and smashed the side of the cruiser on Route 9 West near the mobile home park, around 2 a.m., the chief said.
