Bedroom Fire Damages Furniture

Here are the highlights of the Westborough Fire log.

A bedroom fire in a five-family home on Summer Street damaged furniture and a wall Sunday night, Westborough Fire Lt. Patrick Purcell said today.

No injuries were reported from the fire, which was reported at 42 Summer St. at 7:44 p.m., he said.

An electrical issue caused the fire, Purcell said.

At 4:14 p.m., firefighters responded to 8 Mayberry Drive for what proved an alarm malfunction.

At 5:22 p.m., EMS responded to 1 Upton Road.

At 6:53 p.m., EMS responded to 14 Forbes St.

At 7:35 p.m., firefighters responded to 33 Charles St. for a smoke scare.

On Sunday, at 8:01 a.m., firefighters responded to 290 Turnpike Road for a refrigeration leak.

At 5:27 p.m., firefighters responded to 30 Oak St. for what proved a false alarm.

On Monday, at 3:56 a.m., EMS responded to 27 Endicott Drive.
