Alleged Drunken Driver Arrested During Friday Evening Commute

A Worcester resident faces drunken driving charges after a motor vehicle accident on Route 9 in Westborough during the Friday evening commute.

Westborough Police arrested Lynn Gertrude Palady, 53, of 3 North Bend Road, Worcester at 5:51 p.m. and charged her with operating under the influence of liquor; operating under the influence of liquor, per se .08 or above; and failure to use care in stopping, according to the Westborough Police log.

At 11:18 p.m., police received a report from Spring Road of a suspicious motor vehicle, which proved unfounded.
