1 Arrested For Defective Headlight

Here are the highlights of the Westborough Police log for Tuesday and Wednesday, courtesy of the Westborough Police Department:

On Tuesday, at 2:10 a.m., police received a report from Turnpike Road of a burglar alarm, which proved accidental.

At 3:35 a.m., police received an animal complaint from Milk at Maynard streets.

At 6:22 a.m., police received a report from Turnpike Road of a burglar alarm.

At 8:58 a.m., police received a report from Grove at Church streets of a motor vehicle accident with property damage.

At 12:10 p.m., police received a report from Corning Fairbanks Way of a burglar alarm.

At 12:37 p.m., police received a report from East Main Street of a fire alarm.

At 1:08 p.m., police received a report from Turnpike Road of a general disturbance.

At 2:31 p.m., police received a report from Kendall Drive of a burglar alarm, which proved accidental.

At 3:20 p.m., police received a report from Phillips Street of a general disturbance.

At 4:14 p.m., police received a report from Gilmore Farm Road of a fire alarm.

At 4:39 p.m., police received a report from Willow Street of a suspicious person.

At 5:04 p.m., police received a report from Turnpike Road of a motor vehicle accident with property damage.

At 5:39 p.m., on Lyman Street, police arrested Thomas Stephen Tresca, 61, of 799 Farm Road, Apt. 5, Marlborough, and charged him with operating after revocation of suspension, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, owner operating a motor vehicle without an inspection sticker, falsifying a motor vehicle document, and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

At 6:26 p.m., police received a report from West Main Street of a motor vehicle accident with property damage.

On Wednesday, at 12:47 a.m., police received a report from Lyman Street of a burglar alarm, which proved accidental.

At 1:40 a.m., at Otis at Fisher streets, police arrested James Cummings, 31, of 142 Madison St., Fitchburg, and charged him with operating after his license or right to operate was revoked, and a lights violation (defective headlight).
