Is it time for some meditation for your teen?
Is it time for some meditation for your teen?

Thursdays 4:00 to 5:00pm, 6 week session from May 1 to June 5 with Lisa Campbell

A teen’s life encompasses a great deal of growth and change and can be a time of great inspiration, excitement, and freedom, as well as a time of great challenge and anxiety. In this experiential, light-hearted series, you will learn about the many benefits of meditation and how to cultivate your own daily practice. You’ll be guided through meditations designed especially for teens and experience mindful communication techniques that you can easily integrate into your daily life. The benefits of meditation and mindfulness based practices are well documented, and new studies are beginning to show that students who meditate.

  • Receive better grades
  • Experience less burn out at school
  • Have happier, more balanced relationships than their non-meditating counterparts

Visit Sohum.org   for registration.  $75  for 6 week session.

"My daughter loves the meditation class.  She says she hasn't felt this relaxed and "zen" in so long.  With all the stresses these kids have esp at this age, it is wonderful that you have created this opportunity for them to find some balance."  ~  Mom of one of the participants at "Meditation for Teens" class at Sohum

"My son and his friend loved the class as they felt quite refreshed and alert at the same time. So glad he could join the class. He must have actually meditated as he said at one point his mind was totally blank and he did not think he was asleep. Amazing!!!!" ~ A Teen's Mom at SOHUM
