Letter to the Editor: Dykema Supports Westborough Schools

Her work helped get the town additional education aid.

To The Editor:

Rep. Carolyn Dykema has my utmost respect and support. During the four
years that I have served on the Westborough School Committee, Rep. Dykema has impressed me with her intelligence, steady decision-making ability, responsiveness, and even-keeled temperament. She is always willing to roll up her sleeves, putting forth hard work and thoughtful effort to achieve practical solutions for our community. For instance, Rep. Dykema fought for Westborough to obtain additional Chapter 70 education funds this year and to be reimbursed for the previously unfunded mandate of busing homeless students back to their home districts. While Rep. Dykema only represents Precinct 2 in Westborough (Hastings voters), she spends an abundant amount of time and energy working on issues important to our entire town, such as plans for the Westborough State Hospital property. Rep. Dykema’s integrity and strength of character make her an asset to the Massachusetts legislature and her constituents. I urge you to join me in voting for Carolyn Dykema on Nov. 6.
