Westborough Remembers Linda Mayo
Funeral services and burial in Pine Grove Cemetery will be held in the spring.
Linda E. Mayo, 90, of Westborough, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013 at the UMass/Memorial Healthcare-University Hospital in Worcester. She was the loving wife of the late Lawrence H. Mayo.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ethel (Bancroft) Travi. She was educated in the Westborough public schools, and was a 1941 graduate of Westborough High School.
Linda was a member of the First United Methodist Church, was an active member of the Westborough Senior Center, and enjoyed playing Bridge and Cribbage.
Linda is survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and her companion Golden Retriever, Lulu.
She was the sister of the late Geraldine Newell, Virginia Leaman and Joseph Travi.
Funeral services and burial in Pine Grove Cemetery will be held in the spring.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough.
