Framingham Resident Christopher Quirk, 70, is Remembered

Here are today's Westborough obituaries.

Christopher J. Quirk, 70, of Framingham died on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 at his home.

Born in Norwood, he was the husband of Jo-Ann (Rolls) Quirk for 42 years. He was the son of the late Gertrude (Moloney) Quirk. Chris was a graduate of Framingham High School, Class of 1960, where he was an outstanding athlete.

He was employed for many years in the building and construction industry as a member of the Laborers Union Local 609. He was an avid reader and an enthusiastic fan of all New England sports teams.

He is survived by two sons, Christopher J. Quirk and his wife Mellisa of Northbridge and Sean M. Quirk and his wife Jessica of South Boston; two daughters, Lisa Mehrmann and her husband Charlie of Woodinville, Washington and Heidi Morelli and her husband Stephen of Hopedale; three sisters, Michael Gillis and her husband Joseph of Westborough, Cynthia Buscone and her husband Louis of Norwood and Susan Silva and her husband Paul of Framingham; nine grandchildren, Scott, Chris, Hannah, Brianna, Ryan, Charles, Cooper, Jack, Sam, and a tenth grandchild due in December as well as many nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late John Quirk.
