Why Regular Replacement of Your Cabin Air Filter Is a Must

Westboro Toyota explains why with the cold weather here it's a good time to replace your vehicle's cabin air filter.

It's cold outside! And, that means no more rolling the windows down to get fresh air in your vehicle.

With winter just a few weeks away, now is a good time to replace the cabin air filter in your vehicle. The cabin air filter is a mechanism that helps prevent stale air from becoming trapped in the passenger compartment, which can become unhealthy. Plus, if you drive in dusty environments, such as on dirt roads or at construction sites, your cabin air filter could be working overtime.

It’s usually best to replace your vehicle’s cabin air filter at least once every 30,000 miles or so to ensure that it’s effectively trapping air particles that you don’t want to compromise your driving environment—such as dust, pollen, mold spores and other potentially harmful and irritating agents, which can be circulated through the heating, air conditioning and ventilation functions.

A quick change of the cabin air filter sure does reap a good result for a low cost. Westboro Toyota dares you to compare on the cost to replace the cabin air filter in your vehicle because we'll meet or beat any local competitor’s coupon, now through Dec. 31, 2012. Plus, we’re offering a great deal right now on a cabin air filter replacement on Toyota models for just $59.95, also through Dec. 31, 2012.
