Westborough Selectmen Consider Underride

A recent article in the Community Advocate said that the Selectmen are considering a Prop 2-1/2 Underride.
As we all know, the present Town Metting is not controlling spending. The process of an Underride will get more voters to weigh in instead of the limited number at the Town Meeting.
Mr. Malloy apparently does not like this idea. Obviously this would reduce his propensity to spend more taxpayer money. This is at odds with the majority of voters.
Please express your opinion here. Lets tell Ian Johnson and Denny Drewery that they have your support.

I know when my dog and I were attacked unprovoked by two dogs. I couldn't even get a call back from the town for weeks. I then wrote a letter requesting a dangerous dog hearing. Still didn't get a public hearing.

I would start at the police station, make an appointment for a sit down with an officer or the chief. A police report works wonders.

This happened in 2012 I called 911 right away. Police came, said they don't deal with dogs. Police supervisor said there is no crime and they can't take a dog to jail. They told me its a civil matter. I disagree I would think it's a public safety issue.

That is not a response I would have accepted.

I am just a common person living paycheck to paycheck. It was especially troubling to find out that neither of the attacking dogs were licensed or vaccinated against rabies. When the dogs were licensed about a month later in September, it was also troubling to find out that the Town of Westborough didn't even add on late fees.
