A Hidden Gem, Right In Our Backyard

All of the artists at the Westboro Gallery are LOCAL. As in, Central New England. It doesn’t get much closer than that.

Did you know we have an absolute gem right in the heart of downtown Westborough?  It’s been there for almost 15 years, and you’ve probably passed by dozens of times, possibly hundreds.  Right off the rotary on West Main, nestled in the strip between Subway and G.M. Abodeely Insurance Agency.  Know what I’m talking about yet?  Maybe you’ve even peeked in the window, lingered for a while in the doorway, done a little window shopping. But have you ever stopped in …crossed all the way over the threshold and stepped inside?

I’m guessing you haven’t, because if you did, the Westboro Gallery would become your “go to” place for home furnishings, gifts, and that “little something” you’ve been looking for.

What do you think of when you hear the words “art gallery”?  Beautifully framed oils and exquisite pastels?  Yes, we have that. We definitely do.  Beautiful artwork, many of it portraying local scenes, just waiting to adorn the walls of your home.  But we have more than that, so much more.  And I bet you didn’t even know it. Hand-thrown ceramic vases, fine sterling silver and gemstone jewelry, silk scarves, glass beaded serving sets and cheese knives, handmade journals, glass handcrafted platters, woodcarved bowls, greeting cards.  Many of our houseware and giftware items are $30 or less.

Even better, all of our artists are LOCAL. As in, Central New England. It doesn’t get much closer than that.

So, the next time you’re looking for a gift, skip the big box stores and messy malls.  Make your purchase right here, at home, in Westborough-just in time for "Small Business Saturday", coming up on November 24th.  Buy local art and support one of the best hidden gems in town.
