Westborough Announces Veterans Day Plans
Here are the schedule's highlights. Veterans Day is next Monday.
Westborough's 2013 Veterans Day schedule will include observances at the Pine Grove Cemetery, the Vietnam Memorial, the memorials at the Forbes Municipal Building, and the Westborough Rotary.
Westborough's veterans service office released the schedule Tuesday.
Veterans Day is next Monday.
The schedule's highlights include:
- 9:30 a.m.: Bus departs VFW Post 9013 on Milk Street for Pine Grove Cemetery, where Master of Ceremonies Kenneth Ferrera will introduce state Rep. Carolyn Dykema (D-Holliston) and selectmen to present the wreath.
- 9:50 a.m.: Bus departs for the Vietnam Memorial on Ruggles Street, for services and a wreath laying ceremony.
- 10:10 a.m.: Bus departs for the Forbes Municipal Building, for services and a wreath laying ceremony at the World War I, World War II, Korean and Gulf War memorials. Grand Marshal Douglas M. Sulham will be introduced.
- 11 a.m.: There will be a service at the Westborough Rotary.
