The Westborough Civic Club's annual Christmas tree sale faces a calendar challenge when it starts this Saturday, Nov. 30.

"This is the shortest-ever selling season, because of Thanksgiving and Christmas," Secretary Steve Hart says.

"We've got about 20 days to sell 1,600 trees. We have to sell 80 trees a day to meet target, which is going to be a record for us."
