Updated: Scouts Collect 4,700 Pounds of Food For Westborough Pantry
The Knox Trail Council's 26th Annual Scouting for Food, Good Turn for America drive was Saturday.
Westborough Cub and Boy Scouts supported the Westborough Food Pantry on Saturday by unloading bags filled with donations.
The scouts collected 4,700 pounds of food, Troop 4 Service Coordinator Lori Regis said.
The Knox Trail Council's 26th Annual Scouting for Food, Good Turn for America drive will support local food banks, including the Westborough Food Pantry. Westborough resident Ed Behn is chairing the effort.
