Restaurant Review - Bacado Tapas and Wine Bar
Over the course of two Sangria pitchers (declared "not zippy" by Ann – and in my mind a welcome way to stay refreshed over the course of the evening) we enjoyed a large variety of tapas.

Some dear friends wanted to experience what’s done to do a restaurant review. It’s actually very fun. You go to a restaurant, take in the ambiance and service, and eat. The whole time, talking about what you like or would improve. In other words, it’s not much different than going out on the town, although pictures get taken with the trusty BlackBerry.
The same was true when visiting Bacado Tapas and Wine Bar, part of the Niche Hospitality Group in Worcester. Opened in 2006, Bacado (mouthful in Spanish) serves over 50 tapas (appetizers) intended to be shared. While Bacado offers a full menu, enjoying an array of tapas is the way to go.

The common theme on every visit Bacado is sharing. Starting with Sangria (served by the pitcher,) and an array of tapas, you leave with a great shared experience.
On our visit, we didn’t have reservations (which I’d recommend). The place was packed with holiday parties and groups. We ended up sharing a high top table in one of the two bars.
The high top table, although small, allows you to hear others in your party. Bacado is beyond energetic…it is just plain loud. While one could argue my hearing is reflective of a misspent youth, trust me…Bacado gets loud. And that’s part of the draw…there’s an energy and vibe.

If you are looking for something a little different, with high energy, where jeans can sit alongside suits comfortably, and where sharing is welcomed…Bacado Tapas and Wine Bar is a must! It’s simply FUN!
