Very Gentle Yoga

Great for beginners as well as those who would like to take a slower pace in class and get personalized attention

Fridays 10:30-11:30am

Our Very Gentle yoga class is different from physical exercise, emphasizing relaxation and gradual development of body awareness. This awareness allows the practitioner to stretch slowly to create space within your body, to breathe deeply to oxygenate cells for better circulation, and to develop physical health via connection of body, mind and breath. This class is perfect for beginners as well as for people who would just like to take a slower pace in class.

Taught by Ritu Kapur, an Occupational Therapist who has more than 20 years of experience working with people with varied medical conditions and welcomes people with any conditions who feel they cannot participate in a regular class. This class is small and intimate so that all practitioners can get more personalized attention (max capacity of 8 per class).
