Screen on the Green

The Westborough Public Library and the Westborough Farmer’s Market announce the final film in the first season of “Screen on the Green.” Free family-friendly movies, based on books, have been shown at the Bay State Green on Union Street in Westborough this summer.

The movies are free and open to all, thanks to generous sponsorships from the lead sponsor, the Friends of the Westborough Public Library; as well as Marlborough Savings Bank, Westborough TV, and the Westborough Civic Club. The Rotary Club of Westborough is also supporting the series.

While you're there, pick up dinner to go, a snack, or a cold drink from our restaurant sponsor, Sachi! They will have a table set up on the sidewalk near the restaurant. A portion of the proceeds benefits the library too. If you want to eat inside the restaurant before the movie, show your Westborough Public Library card and get a 10% discount!

This week is the final film of the summer! The movie is "Babe" and is sponsored by our lead sponsor, the Friends of the Westborough Public Library.

Moviegoers should bring a blanket or lawn chair and some friends! Come enjoy a movie under the stars with your neighbors.

In case of inclement weather, check the library’s website at http://www.westboroughlib.org or call 508-366-3050 for information.

See you at the Green!
