The Hastings Winter Festival, sponsored by Hastings Parent Group, features something for everyone- games, crafts, and food, as well as a silent auction and basket raffle. There are countless activities to keep the kids occupied- Beads by Elsie Kaye, trinkets by Cre8, face painting, star toss, musical chairs, sad art, and plinko. New this year, Mr. Magic promises to perform a captivating magic show and a performance by our very own D10 Westborough Lady Rangers, who recently traveled to Florida to compete for the National Cheerleading Championship. But this event isn't just for kids- the basket raffle and silent auction will appeal to all ages. Participants will have a chance to bid on an array of valuable items, including a Kindle Fire, a Bose SoundDock II, a John Lackey autographed baseball, and Playstation XBOX. In addition, restaurant and salon gift certificates, museum passes, ski lift tickets, and health and fitness club passes are among the other fantastic items that will be available. Money raised at this event will go towards the school's enrichment programs including field trips, guest speakers, and additional tools for students and staff. The event is open to everyone and cost $5 per person or $20 maximum per family.
