Fall Benefit Rummage Sale

The First United Methodist Church of
Westborough will be holding its semi-annual Charity Rummage Sale.  This
year’s Rummage Sale will be held on Friday, September 20th from 10am-2pm and
from 6pm to 8pm, and Saturday, September 21st from 9am to 12pm, in Webb Hall.

All proceeds from the sale go directly to outreach and mission projects through
the Appalachia Service Project (ASP) and the United Methodist Women.

Jonathan Owen, Chair of the First United Methodist Church ASP said:
“The Charity Rummage Sale benefits so many people.  Those who donate their
gently used items can feel good that they have cleared their homes of a little
clutter and contributed to a good cause.  Those who come to purchase items
at the sale find great bargains, and all of the money raised from the sale is
used to fund the church’s outreach programs.  This event is a significant
fundraiser for our mission work and we hope people will come out to support a
worthy cause.”

The sale also includes furniture, housewares, electronics, toys, and
sporting equipment. The United Methodist Women will sell clothing, accessories,
linen and jewelry.
