Fales Elementary School Family Fun Day and Raffle

The Fales Elementary School Parent Group will hold its annual raffle and Family Fun Day event on Saturday, October 19th, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Fales Elementary School.  Admission is $3 per child, and there is no charge for adults. 

Family Fun Day includes a magic show, a bounce house, face painting, and a cake walk contest.  The raffle is held in the gymnasium from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm.  Raffle tickets may be purchased at the door for $0.50 each, for a chance to win baskets filled with games, toys, and other items.  Basket themes this year include Halloween, Legos, the Red Sox, the Celtics, arts and crafts, and books and literacy.  Additional items have also been donated by individuals, families, and local businesses such as The Learning Express, Tatnuck Bookseller, Jenny Boston, Roche Bros., Cre8 Studio, and Teamworks.  The money raised from the raffle funds various enrichment programs for the students, such as presentations by the Dinosaur Lady, author Brian Lies, and the Traveling Science Workshops.
