Westborough Historical Society Holds Program on Collecting Books and Ephemera

The Westborough Historical Society will present a program at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26 on “Collecting Works of Historical Americana, Including Books and Ephemera.” The event, which is free and open to the public, will be held at the Society’s headquarters, 13 Parkman St., Westborough.

Speaker John Gately of Marlborough will illustrate his talk by exhibiting examples from his own collection – mostly works from the 17th century to the Civil War.

Gately and his brother founded Gately Bros. Books, sellers of antiquarian books and ephemera.
