Blue Christmas Service

First United Methodist Church, 120 West Main in
Westborough, will hold its annual Blue Christmas Service for the community on
Sunday, December 22nd at 5:30pm. For many people, Christmas can be a
“blue” time because of heartache, pain, loss, or frustration. Some may be
“blue” because it stirs up other feelings—memories of what once was or thoughts
of how we wish it would have been. During the “Blue Christmas Service,” these
feelings are acknowledged and comfort and hope are offered through scripture,
song, prayer, and the lighting of candles.
