New, unwrapped toys are being welcomed at a technical school's two Westborough campuses during the holiday season for the first time.

Monday, the Porter and Chester Institute's schools at 129 Flanders Road and 80 Turnpike Road began serving as Toys for Tots Foundation drop off locations Monday, Director of Education Glenn Hartland said Tuesday.

The sites will accept donations from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. until Dec. 14.

"We want to try and give back, and hope to be able to help a family or a child that's in need," Hartland said.

Hartland said he contacted Toys for Tots about this. He and his family had supported the program for a few years.
