Forty-Nine WHS students accepted into CDMMEA Music Festival

Forty-nine Westborough High School student musicians have  been accepted into the Central District Music Educators Association festival. 

These students prepared an audition that was performed in front of a qualified adjudactor on November 17th at Wachusett High School.  They were chosen from well over 1000 students who auditioned for the event. 
Students in the  CDMMEA band, orchestra, chorus and jazz ensemble will rehearse at Wachusett Regional High School on Wednesday, January 16th and Friday, January 18th at Wachusett Regional High School.  The dress rehearsal and concert will be at Mechanics Hall in Worcester on Saturday, January 19th.  This will be a sold out concert and advance tickets are strongly suggested!

In addition,  29 WHS students also received an All-State Recommendation and will have the opportuntiy to audition for acceptance into the 2013 MMEA All-State Festival ensembles.
