Yummy Mummy Brownies Wants to Open in Westborough

Yummy Mummy Brownies may soon be available in Westborough year-round, not just at the Westborough Farmers' Market.

In September, owner Melissa Roiter and Westborough Health Inspector Terry Gilchrist walked through, 72 East Main St., the former home of the Bistro, Gilchrist told the board of health in her September report.

Based in Southborough, Yummy Mummy would share the Westborough building with the Maruyama Take Out Restaurant, a burrito and sushi restaurant. The health board recently granted the Maruyama a variance.

"The facility is being split in two to accommodate two new establishments," Gilchrist wrote.

Yummy Mummy has had space at the farmers' market "since its inception," she wrote.

The Bistro moved in late August to 57 East Main St., where it opened on Monday. A grand opening is set for Oct. 27.
