Who Has the Best Fish Fry (or Bake) in Westborough?

Fish on Fridays is a staple for many people during Lent (and beyond).

A question on Westborough Patch's Facebook page asked readers, "Where's the best place to get fish on Fridays?"

"South Street Diner," reader Louanne Robinson Greene said.

"JP's is the best!!!!!!!!!!!" reader Carmine Cardillo said.

"Mulligan's Taverne," reader Deborah Bergeron said.

"Ok…so it might not be Westborough (to be fair I live on the boundary of Shrewsbury/Westborough!) but I loooove Funky Murphy's on Shrewsbury Street! And during Lent they are running a $6.99 special," reader Andrea Srivastava said.

"Not in Westborough unfortunately, but the best fish available anywhere west of the ocean is at Scales Seafoood in Millbury, MA. There is almost nowhere better within 30 - 50 miles," reader Clive Watson said.

"Owen O'Leary's on Route 9 in Southboro. Best fresh baked haddock dinner anywhere. For salmon my favorite is Yama Zakura, but not a Lenten sacrifice dining for sure. Scallop Roll, JPs," reader Paula Benoit Hogan said.
