"Melissa did my flowers for my March wedding," wrote one reader,. "My color was dark purple (very hard and my theme was rock and roll.) Well, Melissa totally ROCKED the flowers. I got countless raves not only for the centerpieces, but for all of the bouquets as well. I could not have been happier. They were better than I imagined and she was amazing to work with! Thank you so much for helping to make my day perfect!"

Horne, 32, got into the flower business after leaving Franklin Pierce College, where she had studied art. She started as a delivery driver for Plant Bazaar, which has been in town for decades. She said she found that floral arrangements were a way to put her artistic side to use.

"We do a lot of modern, eclectic designs, using funky, unusual flowers you can't find in other places," Horne said. "We do traditional work as well."

Weddings, funerals, deliveries and interior/exterior work are all part of what Horne offers. There is also a small greenhouse on site. Horne and Renee Donovan, her future sister-in-law, work at the business and get help from friends during the busier times of year.

Congratulations, Plant Bazaar!
