Indian Restaurant Planned For Former Dunkin' Donuts

A national Indian restaurant plans to open a Westborough franchise at the former Dunkin' Donuts on Route 9 West.

Paradise Biryani Pointe has more than 30 restaurants nationwide, Health Inspector Terry Gilchrist told the board of health in her August report.

On its website, Paradise Biryani Pointe is called "a trademarked Indian Restaurant Chain with its signature Biryani, specialties in Moghlai and Tandoor food.

"Paradise Biryani Pointe is the home of Best Biryani in USA. Paradise Biryani Pointe maintains its taste and consistency by the basic recipe and spice formulae."

The restaurant is in 30 locations among 12 states, according to the website, with plans to expand to 16 states and 40 restaurants by the middle of this year.
