Home Health Care Firm Eyes Kirkside Building

Right at Home of Westborough would move to 8 Church St. from rented space on Route 9.

A Westborough home health care firm wants to buy the Kirkside Building on Church Street from the Congregational Church of Westborough.

Right at Home of Westborough would move to 8 Church St. from rented space on Route 9, attorney William Bloom told selectmen recently.

Selectmen granted SG2 Enterprises LLC site plan approval for the project after a public hearing at Westborough Town Hall. SG2 and Right at Home share principals, Gail Hanson and Shelby Marshall, Bloom said.

Hanson and Marshall have been "looking for quite some time" for a new location "in and around the center of town," Bloom said.

Project Manager James Almonte said interior renovations would occur at Kirkside.

"We feel this is an improvement to the site," Almonte said of the proposed project, which also would "have a positive impact on the surrounding neighborhood."
