CarMax Reaches Selectmen Tuesday Night

CarMax Auto Superstores' plans for a Westborough dealership will reach selectmen Tuesday night.
Selectmen will hold a site plan review public hearing at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday at the Forbes Municipal Building.
CarMax proposes building a 57,235-square-foot auto dealership at 170 to 178 Turnpike Road, according to the dealership's state Environmental Notification Form.
The owners would demolish an office building and driving range on the property.
The developers would support efforts in Westborough and its neighbors to create a multi-use trail connecting Shrewsbury to Framingham by giving Westborough an easement over the section of former Boston and Worcester Street Railway on the site, according to the state form.
