New Exhibit Features 'Museum Quality' Work

The Artist Guild of Shrewsbury's annual show ends March 24.

Visitors to the newest exhibit at Westborough’s Tatnuck Bookseller will “see very studied, very well done artwork in several media,” Robert Wilson says.

The Artist Guild of Shrewsbury’s annual show opened Sunday with 41 pieces from artists from Shrewsbury and its neighbors, said Wilson, the group’s chairman.

The show ends on March 24.

“The work has matured, and people have been working hard at their craft,” Wilson said.

“It’s really showing in the museum quality of all the artwork that’s hanging up here – not only the drawing, but the framing, the presentation. It’s first class.”
