Westborough Library Hosts Talk About Healthy Aging for Men

The Westborough Public Library presents “A Man’s Guide to Healthy Aging” by local author Edward. H. Thompson on Thursday, June 5, at 7 p.m. as part of the library’s Discover Your Next Chapter: Lifelong Learning project.

Mr. Thompson, who retired from the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at the College of the Holy Cross, wrote the book with Lenard Kaye, a professor of social work and the Director of the Center on Aging at the University of Maine.  The book delves into men’s physical, emotional, and social health issues. The book was selected by the Wall Street Journal as one of the year’s best guides for life after 50.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase. For more information, call the library at 508-366-3050.
