Westborough Among 'Top Massachusetts Communities" Annual List
Westborough made the top 100 list by GoLocal's third annual best communities survey.
GoLocalWorcester this week announced its third annual Best Communities in Massachusetts List. The list, said GoLocal, was devised by mixing stats of affordability, economic condition, education, arts and culture, and safety.
Boston came in first in this year's list.
Westborough came in at number 58 on the list.
"Westborough’s access to the commuter rail and Routes 9 and 495 make it an ideal commuter location," wrote GoLocal. "Route 9 provides access to business, industry, shopping and restaurants."
Established in 1717, Westborough now has a population of 18,272, according to GoLocal's report.
