Updated: Snow Causes Closings

Westborough community resources and businesses are responding to the snowstorm.

Beth Tikvah Synagogue, at 45 Oak St., is closed Sunday. Religious school is cancelled, and the Yad b'Yad program has been rescheduled to Jan. 12.

The Unitarian Universalist Congregational Society of Westborough, at 64 West Main St., has cancelled its Sunday services.

St. Luke the Evangelist Church, at 70 West Main St., has cancelled Sunday's Faith Formation classes, as well as the church's family program gathering, and coffee hour, per the church's website.

St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, at 3 John St., has cancelled its 8 a.m. Sunday service, and its adult forum, per its Facebook page. The 10 a.m. service will still be held.

Congregation B'nai Shalom, at 117 East Main St., is closed on Sunday. All religious school classes, the youth and school committee meeting, and adult Hebrew are cancelled.

Sky Zone Westborough on Route 9 announced on its Facebook page that it will close at 8 p.m. Saturday, but hold its regular Sunday hours.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, at 183 West Main St., will be closed Sunday due to the snowstorm, church officials said in an e-mail. The church's Christmas pageant is postponed to 10:15 a.m. next Sunday, Dec. 22.

New Hope Chapel has cancelled its Sunday morning service due to the snowstorm.

The decision is "for the safety of all (including our pastor who travels 50 minutes to get to church)," according to the Facebook page for the church, at 30 Milk St.
