Should Left Turns From Grove to Milk Be Stopped?

Planning board member Mark Silverberg recently suggested this.

Ever turn left from Grove Street onto Milk Street -- and nearly get slammed by a car coming up from the rotary?

Vehicles coming through the chute in front of Dairy Queen don't always slow down.

The issue arose during the planning board's recent discussion of the new Westborough fire station.

Planning board member Mark Silverberg suggested prohibiting left turns from Grove onto Milk, except for emergency vehicles.

Motorists headed to Route 9 would have to go through the rotary, or find another route.
