Re-Paving Planned For 4.4 Miles of Route 9

The project is slated for the winter of 2013-2014.

About 4.4 miles of Route 9 from Westborough to the Southborough line are slated for re-paving in the winter of 2013-2014, according to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation's website.

The project will span from "just east of Lyman Street" to "just west of White Bagely/Brakeneck Hill Road in Southborough," the website notes.

The ramps at Computer and Research drives, and Route 85, will be re-paved as well, the website notes.

State highway representatives were scheduled to meet with the Westborough Conservation Commission this past Tuesday night.

The project's estimated $7,576,925.43 will be funded through the statewide 2014 Transportation Improvement Program.
